Biograpy
Personal Narrative Marc Mondor has been a central part of Pittsburgh's green building movement since the mid-1990s. Marc has lectured nationally and consulted internationally about green design principles, currently providing green building consulting and LEED training and management services for a wide array of projects and clients.
Since co-founding evolveEA in 1994, Marc's consulting work has led to the nation's first LEED certified supermarket, the first LEED Gold certified place of worship and the first LEED CI Gold certified office space, among other innovative firsts. Marc is a licensed architect and active member of the American Institute of Architects, helping program several of their local conferences.
Marc currently serves on the Food Marketing Institute's Sustainability Advisory Committee, previously served as Project Manager for the Green Building Alliance and has over ten years of architectural project management experience. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and studied sustainable design in Scandinavia.
