LEED Projects/Involvement:
I have coordinated the LEED/green building process and facilitated charrettes for a number of projects since 1999. Most projects have been new construction with some operations and maintenance. Project types include:
  • Police Stations
  • Airport Terminals
  • Corporate office buildings/towers
  • Government
  • Hospitals and Medical Office Buildings

USGBC Chapter/Affiliation Involvement:
Founding Chair of Chicago Chapter

Personal Narrative:
The environment has been a passion of mine since I was a kid exploring the creek behind my house, camping and visiting the beautiful Rockies. I didn't see the connection to architecture until I started reading about regenerative design in the early 90's. Once I realized the opportunities for the built environment to complement nature I was hooked and devoted my career to this pursuit. I feel lucky to be able to do this work every day, and hope to pass this enthusiasm to my children.
